A typographic treasure hunt through my own city.
Looking closely, I found all 26 letters of the Latin alphabet already hidden in existing objects, none of the shapes were altered by me. They all live in the ceramics of La Parete dei Ceramisti, a collective artwork in the Giardino delle Donne in Avigliana, made of artistic tiles donated by many artists.
The project also involved my own photography, retouching in Photoshop and layout in InDesign.
As a devoted GTA V fan with a passion for typography, I let two loves meet.
The typeface I chose to illustrate him (Bodoni Compressed, elegant yet sharply contrasted in certain glyphs) mirrors Michael himself: a meticulous, well-dressed thief whose clean, refined look hides real violence and a quiet sense of alienation from his own family.
